Statistical precision of integrated measurements of Rn-222 and Rn-220 decay products in the air by a rotating filter device

摘要
A practical device for integrated measurements of each of the Rn-222 progeny (Po-218, Pb-214, Bi-214 + Po-214) and the Rn-220 progeny (Pb-212 and Bi-212 + Po-212) is described. The information about experimental errors obtained in measurements under different conditions is summarized. The best accuracy achieved is about 20% for Po-218, 10% for Pb-214, 10% for Bi-214, 7% for Pb-212, and 20% for Bi-212. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd.
