摘要
The micro mechanical properties and stability of acicular ferrite in a low carbon microalloyed steel were studied by using nano indentation and SEM. The mixed microstructure of acicular ferrite, granular bainite and plate-like bainite was obtained when the specimen was water cooled immediately after hot deformation and relaxation for a fixed time. The elastic modulus and hardness are decreased in the sequence of plate-like bainite, granular bainite and acicular ferrite by about 15 and 0.6 GPa, respectively. In the contrast with the above sequence, the tempering treatment showed that the acicular ferrite has higher stability than the granular bainite, and the granular bainite has higher stability than plate-like bainite.
