摘要
Developing flexible and wearable temperature sensors could open up exciting opportunities for healthcare and industry applications. As a well-known conducting polymer with excellent electrical properties, poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):polystyrene (PEDOT:PSS) could potentially serve as a sensing electrode for temperature. Here, we report for the first time the development of PEDOT:PSS-based temperature sensors based on a flexible plastic substrate and cotton fabric. The sensors exhibit excellent performance with broad detection ranges and a fast measuring time, and they show excellent working and bending stabilities as well. We anticipate the results could offer new opportunities for the development of wearable temperature sensors and advance practical applications.
