Analysis of Weather Conditions and Biological Material Impact on the Creation of Selected Sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) Yield - Forming Elements and Yield

Field polyfactorial trial was carried out on experimental base Center of Plant Biology and Ecology FAFR SUA in Nitra Dolna Malanta in the years 2010 - 2011. In the experiment was studied the impact of temperature and precipitation conditions of experimental years on creation of yield - forming elements (number plants per unit area, number heads per unit area, average of head, weight of head, WTA - weight of thousand achenes) and sunflower achene yield. Within biological material were used hybrids NK Dolbi, NK Kondi and NK Tristan. Experimental years 2010 and 2011 were in the term of weather conditions very different. Year 2011 was more favorable for temperatures and precipitation, in this year were recorded higher value of the number of plants per unit area, number of heads per unit area, WTA - weight of thousand achenes and achene yield, compared with year 2010. In the range of adaptability and yield forming on the specific agro - ecological conditions of the environment, was NK Kondi the most adaptable hybrid.
