摘要
This article furthers the inquiry on post-neoliberal shifts in Latin America by examining regulatory reform towards civil society organizations (CSOs) in Ecuador. By explaining the way in which some organizations interpret and respond to recent regulatory reforms in Ecuador, we can better understand civil society-state relations in a post-neoliberal Latin America. The research is an in-depth case study of a civil society network, which has publicly contested the recent regulatory reform. The findings show that new regulatory policies that target CSOs might shape to what extent and how organizations are able to contribute to new modes of development in the region.
