摘要
In this paper we present an overview of EXEHDA, an adaptive, services-oriented middleware, conceived to support the execution of pervasive applications and the management of a pervasive environment. EXEHDA is being developed in the context of the ISAM project, which aims to provide an integrated solution, from development to execution, for general-purpose pervasive computing applications. The ISAM architecture is ongoing building with emphasis in follow-me semantics: full user mobility implies that applications should be accessible anywhere, anytime, anydevice. This article's focus is the management of the ISAM pervasive environment (ISAMpe) reached by middleware's services. Context-awareness is a key middleware behavior to provide functionality adapted to the constraints and unpredictability of the pervasive environment at global scale. EXEHDA employs many strategies in its services to allow the adaptation to current state of the execution context, such as core minimum, on-demand adaptive services loading, dynamic resource discovery and planned disconnection semantics.
