摘要
To overcome the deterioration of azimuth resolution in forward-looking imaging for airborne or missile-borne radar, this paper proposes an array radar forward-looking imaging algorithm based on super-resolution technique. In the novel proposed algorithm, the modified Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) algorithm is applied to estimate the azimuth positions of the observed targets, followed by the signal accumulation to generate the final image. As is verified by simulation and experimental results, this algorithm can effectively improve the azimuth resolution of radar image in forward-looking direction.
