摘要
This paper reports on the concepts and applications of the Wave Based Technique (WBT) for a steady-state analysis of three-dimensional fully coupled structural-acoustic unbounded problems. In a wide variety of real-life problems the mutual coupling interaction between the structure and fluid is no longer negligible implying that both parts of the problem have to be considered simultaneously. The vibrating structure influences the adjacent acoustic domain while the pressure waves in fluid induce the structural vibrations at the same time. As a consequence, it is no longer possible to assume the structure as independent of fluid, and vice versa, and the whole problem must be thus considered as one (fully) coupled system. In this type of formulation both the structural thin plate bending problem and the unbounded acoustic domain are described by means of a coupled wave based model. The application of the proposed approach demonstrates its enhanced computational efficiency as compared with the state-of-the-art techniques.
