INFLUENCE OF REPLACEMENT PERCENTAGE OF RECYCLED AGGREGATES ON RECYCLED AGGREGATE CONCRETE PROPERTIES

摘要
In this paper the use of coarse recycled aggregates (RA) by concrete for partially or globally replacing coarse natural aggregates in the production of structural concrete has been analyzed. Compressive and tensile strength, modulus of elasticity and workability of several specimens made with different replacement percentages of coarse RA, have been determined. Four different concrete mixes were carried with 20%, 50%, 80% and 100% replacement percentages of coarse RA respectively, and a control conventional concrete C30/35, with 100% natural aggregate. Results showed that the properties of recycled concrete made with high percentages of coarse RA (80% e 100%) and natural fine, are lower than those of ordinary concrete, while properties of recycled concrete made with 50% and 20% of coarse RA, are similar to normal concrete.
