Determination of the piezoelectric electromechanical coupling constant k(13) using a frequency ratio method

摘要
An alternative method to determine the electromechanical coupling constant k(13) for the length-thickness piezoelectric resonator is presented. Data relating the electromechanical coupling constant k(13) to the parallel resonance frequency ratios are tabulated. A third order polynomial was found to represent the relationship accurately for k(13) = 0.01 to 0.6. The coefficients of the polynomial and typical errors in the fit are reported.
