摘要：

In order to strengthen the quality control system of engineering education and promote the international mutual recognition of engineering education, the development of professional accreditation system of engineering education was studied in China .In this paper, the accreditation of engineering education was introduced, including the basic concepts of engineering education at home and abroad and their status. The engineering education accreditation system and its potential impact on higher engineering education was analyzed. The professional certification in the universities should be an opportunity in their own certification standards and find problems and disadvantages from personnel training, curriculum system, teachers, and other aspects through cooperative reform and innovation, to promote the overall quality of personnel training
