Problems through Dirt of Paper Machine Clothing with Focus on Dryer Fabrics Cleaning. Dirt and stickies passing the stock preparation are causing problems at the paper machine due to dirty fabrics. To avoid reduced runnability of the paper machine, the fabrics have to be conditioned. The fabrics can be cleaned continuously or during a production stop. Several fabric cleaning systems are compared. For dry fabric cleaning systems the use of high pressure water jets up to 500 bar is becoming more and more common.
