Review and Prospect for Research on Citizen Responsibility Consciousness in China

Citizen responsibility consciousness is an important part of civic moral construction and a critical representation of modernizing national legal system. The research mainly covers the connotations, features, current situation and influence factors of citizen responsibility consciousness, as well as its relationship with social reality and other psychological qualities. In addition, the paper also probes into the strategy of fostering such consciousness. The future research in this field requires establishing the international vision of civic responsibility consciousness research in terms of the research breadth, to cultivate the scientific spirit of civic responsibility consciousness from the theoretical depth, and to grasp the developing trend of civic responsibility consciousness from the practical dimension, so as to conduct more systematic and in-depth exploration.
