摘要：

This paper uses 2005-2009 panel data of 12 western provinces, selects industrial competitiveness, industrial structure, and enterprise efficiency eleven indicators and uses factor analysis to conduct static and dynamic analysis for industrial competitiveness of the 12 western provinces respectively. The result shows the current status of industrial competitiveness and development trends of western provinces, and put forward relevant recommendations.
