Coupling between dark and bright solitons

摘要：
We discuss the mutual coupling of solitary waves of two different types, dark and bright, due to nonlinear interaction between the modes with different signs of group-velocity dispersions, and find a novel class of vector solitons. We investigate the stability of these dark-bright solitons and reveal an important mechanism of soliton stabilization.
