摘要：
In this paper, an improvement of the boundary element method is attempted by using discontinuous elements for effective treatment of the free surface problem with intersecting vertical boundaries. The GMRES algorithm is used for solving large dense nonsymmetric linear systems of equations, while the 4th-order Runge-Kutta algorithm is implemented for time integration. Advantages of the present numerical scheme are demonstrated in terms of accuracy and convergence for typical boundary value problems with free surface.
