摘要：

This article presents a historic synthesis on residential towers erection process as an architectonic type accepted in all contemporary contexts evidencing that the original idea of economy posed by modern architects has been distorted into a speculative intention and that the spatial conditions of those apartments forming part of the towers have removed the numinous condition of domestic space which, ancestrally, had a symbolic vertical structure of transcendent connection.
