摘要：
The elderly may suffer from many chronic diseases often associated with disability. The health status of the elderly depends not only on the physical condition but also on the emotional state and the social participation. To evaluate his health condition, it is therefore necessary to apply the comprehensive geriatric assessment which takes into consideration all together the physical, psycological and socio-economic factors. Therefore we propose a new tool, the polar diagram, to be used in order to perform the comprehensive geriatric assessment. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
