摘要
The Internet of Things (IoT) has gained significant importance recently, as the number of connected objects increases. The information produced by these objects can be collected to create virtual sensors. These sensors are then connected to the Internet via gateways. In this paper, we propose a multi-objective service assignment algorithm for assigning the requests of thesesensors to the gateways. This algorithm aims to minimize the mean time of sending requests to the gateways and the mean time of responding to these requests. In addition, load balance is maintained between the gateways. Our algorithm is the combination of multi-objective firefly algorithm and queue theory. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has significantly less mean response time and mean transmission time compared to Queue based Round Robin (QRR) algorithm.
