Evaporation and condensation coefficients by the multiple Knudsen cell mass spectrometric method

摘要
Hindered vaporisations are characterized by evaporation coefficients that can be determined either by free or Langmuir vaporisations or effusion from Knudsen cells. Condensation coefficients can be also determined with effusion cells under certain conditions, The multiple Knudsen cell method associated to a mass spectrometer is applied to the simultaneous determination of these coefficients mainly for the vaporisation of silicon compounds SiC, SiO2, Si3N4 and their related ternary systems.
