摘要
With the sustainable increase of refugees who apply for asylum in Germany since 2008, Germany has become one of the most important target countries in the EU for asylum-seekers. Refugee policy has become a hot topic in the German society. Traced the historical development of German refugee policy, which generally presents a tightening trend, the check procedure of asylum applications are on the one hand more stringent and the rights of refugees tend to be classified more and more detailedly; on the other hand, the German government puts its refugee policy under the framework of the EU common refugee policy, and cooperates with other members of the European Union States, in order to jointly cope with the refugee problems. Although the German refugee policy has been continuously improved, the German government is still facing multiple challenges in political, economic, social and cultural aspects due to a large number of applicants.
