摘要
With Nietzsche the question of intercultural communication and philosophy can be scrutinized more thoroughly. In his wake one wishes just as well to be understood its not to he understood. Granting that culture is that which has become commonly understood, Nietzsche purposefully exposes his readers to experiments of comprehension in order to delimit certain culture areas to which one might seek access but from which one might also, willingly or unwillingly, be excluded, In this way he chooses his readers, selects them - and even tells them so. His philosophizing is aimed at surprising the readers, daring them to accept the challenge - which they might also decline, thus sparing them. This acts as a prototype of all intercultural and interpersonal communication. One will leave it and even has to leave it to those who belong to the other culture areas in how far they will accept to engage with one's own culture area and one will equally only understand others in the range of one's own culture area. Without any coercion to understanding and with the ability to leave surprising matters be, intercultural and interpersonal communication becomes cheerful and science, according to Nietzsche, "gay".
