摘要
Composites containing molybdenum disulfide of various contents in a nickel matrix were prepared using composite electrodeposition technique in this study. The nickel-molybdenum disulfide system, as a hydrogen electrode in alkaline solutions, exhibited a more significant increase in electrocatalytic property than pure copper and electrodeposited nickel, Moreover, the electrocatalytic performance displayed an optimum efficiency at 34% by weight of the MoS2 in deposit, We also examined the process characteristics of codepositing MoS2 particles with nickel using statistical experimental design in order to obtain a better understanding of the process. The critical factors in codepositing nickel and molybdenum disulfide particles were investigated, According to those results, the pH value and bath temperature are of primary importance, Rotation rate of electrode is a secondary significant factor, The extent of codeposition increases with the pH value of the bath, The extent of incorporating the MoS2 phase, howerer, decreases with the solution's temperature.
