Multi-parameter characterization of industrial filter efficiency and a novel approach to increasing depth filter life

摘要
MPC is a means of evaluating filter performance that provides a more realistic demonstration of behaviour under actual process conditions. Data are directly comparable between different filter types. The PolyNet filter is a stiff filter structure that resists deformation as the differential pressure across the filter increases during its service life. The filters achieve consistent performance, maintaining their rated performance throughout filtration life without releasing or unloading previously captured contaminant. The design of the PolyNet filter ensures maximum use of the filter medium through fluid flow channels and distribution netting between the layers of filter medium. The design also results in a lower initial differential pressure than many other equivalent rated polypropylene depth filters.
