The Relationship between the Effect of Health Education and the Educational Background of Patients with Type 2 Diabetes

摘要
Through hospitalization frequency and loss rate of health education, to explore the effect of health education, Patients with Type 2 Diabetes were randomly divided into Group A, B and C, which Corresponded educational background of middle school and below, secondary education and undergraduate. All patients received the health education once per month. The observation period was three years. Evaluation was the hospitalization frequency and the health education loss rate. In the total of 783 cases, 480 cases were Completed health education while 122 cases in group A, 156 cases in B and 202 cases in group C. From hospitalization frequency, Group A was close to the times of hospitalization >4times, Group B was close to 2-4 times and Group C was close to <2 times. The loss of health education were 303 Cases: The loss rate was 46.25% in Group A, 33.61% in Group B and 37.07% in Group C. The statistical results shown significant differences between three groups as a lower loss rate in Group B than C and A, while Group A was the highest characteristics. Conclusion: Patient's culture background had influence on the effect of health education. Different health education on cultural background of patients could have different results and different ways of education method. It was a reasonable solution to give them the health education on diabetic patients of secondary education once per month.
