摘要
Shortcomings of traditional separable two-dimensional wavelet transform in the image compression algorithm are analyzed. On the ground of image compression based on LSS algorithm, a no separable two-dimensional wavelet transform is proposed, denoted by WHITE-BLACK transform. The efficiency of the algorithm does not decline, and is being the same as that of separately transform. The characters of direction of three high frequency subband after WHITE-BLACK transform are alike, resulting in efficient coefficients organization. Experimental shows that the image compression ratio is improved.
