摘要
This research paper deals with the weldabilty of aluminium and silicon carbide metal matrix composite pieces, containing 10% of silicon carbide using TiAlN coated tool by friction stir welding process. The weldabilty is specified with the mechanical properties-Tensile strength, yield strength & percentage elongation using UTM & Brinell hardness tester by varying tool parameter speed without varying feed and the Microstructure of weld nugget is observed using optical microscope (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd.
