摘要：
Based on components technology, a compositive information system of marine meteorology is developed by using MAPX5.0, Visual Basic6.0 and SQL Server2000.The system mainly realized five functions. Firstly, the system has mainly realized based on the marine system correlation data input and revision automatically; secondly, Zhejiang Province and the surrounding areas relevant GIS information input, modify and display; thirdly, the real-time path of tropical cyclones and related information is showed on the latest or user defined map; fourthly, the historical typhoon inquiry will be achieved when data-base has relevant information; finally, the conclusion and basis will be offered by comparing the different Country in same typhoon forecasting. The study has two main advantages. On one hand, the GIS and marine data are stored in database system instead of file system; On the other hand, the design of new system is more convenient and more powerful by combining the GIS with marine system.
