摘要：
This paper explores theoretical issues in furniture design from the perspective of product semantics, studies the extension and connotation of product semantics and material properties, and clarifies the rich semantic ambience created by various materials and surface processing methods, the relation between product semantics, modeling, color and the matching of materials etc. And this paper analyzes the application methods of product semantics and the visual semantic symbols in furniture design. This study will provide certain reference for the furniture product design.
