TCF bleaching of AS-AQ straw pulp

AS-AQ straw pulp oxygen-alkali bleaching strengthened with H2O2 has been studied after the pulp was pretreated with acid in this article; The results show that the unbleached straw pulp which has 42.8% ISO brightness, 8.16 Kappa number and 913mL/g viscosity can be bleached to 67% ISO brightness after one stage oxygen-alkali bleaching under the conditions of NaOH5%, oxygen pressure 0.6MPa, H2O2 0.5%, temperature 100degreesC and time 80min., and their viscosity and Kappa number are 841mL/g and 3.25 respectively. It is fit to process next stage bleaching. After O-p, H2O2 was used to bleach the pulp furhter, the brightness, viscosity and Kappa number of the pulp were reached to 73.4%, 823mL/g 2.25 respectively, the brightness stability was better.
