摘要：
A Rose for Emily, Faulkner's most representative of the classic short stories, is an American Southern Gothic love story. This thesis mainly studies the subjective and objective factors that caused Emily's, the protagonist's, tragic life from a feminist perspective by profoundly analyzing feminism consciousness contained in the novel, and further deepens the awareness of woman's issues.
