摘要
Impacts of the recent economic global crisis at individual and organizational levels, such as the decline of psychological well-being and profit loss, leads to the Quality of Work Life (QWL) being a central issue, including its measurement. The objective of this study is to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Indonesian version of the Work-Related Quality of Life (WRQoL) scale. The Indonesian version of the WRQoL scale was administered to employees of a newspaper office in South Borneo, Indonesia (N = 206). It was found that the internal consistency reliability coefficient was 0.78, while the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) showed that the Goodness of Fit Index (GFI) was 0.91, the Comparative Fit Index (CFI) was 0.84, the Normed Fit Index (NFI) was 0.73, and the Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) was 0.07. This indicates that the items are adequate for assessing QWL.
