NutriBase nutritional data bank - Concept and construction of a nutritional data collection

The nutritional data bank NutriBase allows access to the same data from different programs for nutritional calculation; so the results obtained are comparable. By use of the most important nutritional data banks and by continuous updating NutriBase is the most comprehensive collection of food data presently available. Due to the structure of the system stored data are available for external users. Fundamental data or results can be exported into other programs e.g. for statistical analysis. The modular system can be adapted to individual requirements. Although it is continuously updated, stored data and pertinent results are preserved.
