摘要
Digital Twins enable the integration of information along the lifecycle of Industry 4.0 solutions. Various design aspects must be taken into account to offer a digital twin-based solution: Digital Twins as single access points to information sources that are currently siloed, automatic construction of Digital Twins, automatic enrichment of Digital Twin contents, and on-demand translation to a standardized format for information exchange across Digital Twins. This paper elaborates on these aspects and provides a cloud-based architecture as a solution.
