摘要
Reliability and stability of mechanical products would be reduced because of wider vibration when rotor-bearing system rotating at whirling speed. Typically, magnetic damper is used to directly measure the rotor's position by eddy sensor for use in implementation of voltage feedback. The cost of system is increased as eddy effect is occurred so, these are impediment to widening the application of magnetic damper. In this text, self-sensing magnetic damper is presented to implement actuate and sensing simultaneity. Linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) is introduced to detect the rotor's position, the self-sensing's principle and control measure of LVDT is emphasized, and the experimental facility is set up. In this system, the IPC is adopted as control computer, and the configuration software as real-time test and control software. Experimental research to reduce vibration of different rotating speed is analyzed. Feasibility of system is proved by experimental result and this method has promising future in engineering application.
