RE-ENGINEERING OF ASSISTED LEARNING SOFTWARE

Based on current needs of society, the educational environment, like other areas of society, must adapt, so that the skills required by the labour market to can be developed effectively in a learning process. In this context, the content, teaching methods and means must be rethought frequently for as the educational process to be effective and to enable developing these skills. The software re-engineering is essential in the computer-assisted learning process and the software has an important role in learning. From this point of view the creation, development and software reuse, according to need, in teaching - learning and assessment should be a constant concern of teachers. This paper presents some basic ideas of re-engineering educational components oriented software and, in the final part, some practical considerations concerning maintenance of software for learning mathematics and experimental results.
