A fusional positioning scheme based on 5G for substation operation safety control

摘要
Accurate location information is very important for substation operation safety control. This paper proposes a seamless indoor and outdoor positioning technology that integrates Beidou and UWB technologies. The Beidou satellite positioning technology is used for positioning in outdoor environments, and the positioning mode is switched to Beidou and UWB at the junction of indoor and outdoor environments, and to UWB positioning mode when entering indoor environments. By increasing the threshold mechanism, the power consumption and computation waste caused by the repeated switching of the indoor and outdoor positioning system are effectively avoided, and the seamless connection of the fusion multi-positioning technology is realized. In order to realize Beidou +UWB joint positioning, we proposed a unified calculation method of coordinate system and time system. Through comparative simulation, the fusion positioning scheme has higher positioning accuracy than Beidou or UWB positioning alone.
