New Horizons of the Economic Science

The failure of the neoclassical model of the economy, validating the incoherence and growth regulation model inherited from the past, and multiplying the problems that the economy and society is facing the claim the promotion of a new kind of economic thinking and outlining a new project for a new economy. The evaluation of the present stage, a critical look at the dominant economic theory and identification of the requirements needed for the reconstruction of economic are priority objectives of the approach taken in this study. As research hypotheses we have considered the importance and the force of the economic ideas, the specific process of economic knowledge, the link between the evolution of economic thought, the close interrelation between major economic crises and transitions economics and capitalism, the role of ideology on political and economic action and changing perspective on the causes, which involves both risks and opportunities. The identification of the major sources of dilemmas and economic science controversies is analyzed in close correlation with the requirements of overcoming the current impasse and build a radical reform.
