摘要
In recent decades, psychoenvironmental analysis of place attachment has been increasing from diverse areas of study, demonstrating the relevance of this link in individual and collective responses to physical and social environmental changes. The study of place attachment and its relationship with other variables can help to understand the denial that certain interventions in the environment produce, and enhance coping strategies to help deal with inevitable changes in the environment. With this aim, various theoretical and empirical contributions were brought together in order to analyse in depth and clarify the term, as well as improve our understanding of how physical and social variables influence place attachment, or its influence on perception and changes in the environment. They all highlight the importance of place attachment on people's adaptation to a changing environment.
