摘要
Parameter testing is the most important process during ballast production, only the products whose parameters conformed to the standard could be passed to the next procedure. A quality information system was designed to replace the manual operation. Based on the computer controlled auto-test facilities, the information system recorded the performance parameters of the ballasts in real time, the statistics of product quality such as the fail ratio was performed periodically. When the fail ratio exceeds the set thresholds, an alarming e-mail will be sent automatically to the related managers and designers. The adoption of database makes history data searched and reviewed conveniently, and the statistics provide a powerful tool for analysis and decision-making. Application of the system have shortened the time for defects statistics and evaluation, and helped to improve the production efficiency and product quality.
