摘要：
The leaf and bark essential oils of Brunellia costaricensis Standl. (Brunelliaceae), from Monteverde, Costa Rica, were isolated by hydrodistillation and analyzed by GC-MS. A total of six compounds, were identified in the leaf oil and ten compounds were identified in the bark oil, accounting for 100 and 94.3 % of the total compositions, respectively. The major components of the, leaf oil of B. costaricensis were alpha-pinene (28.3 %), camphene (17.8 %), linalool (14.7 %), and methyl salicylate (31.4 %). The bark oil was dominated by methyl salicylate (81.6 %).
