Interferon alpha 2b for treatment of conjunctival melanoma. A case report

摘要：
A 71-year-old female patient with a status following multiple conjunctival excisions, histopathologically confirmed conjunctival melanoma (CMM) and also multiple therapy with mitomycin C presented with progressive conjunctival pigmentation. Treatment was carried out with local interferon alpha 2b administration four or five times daily for several months. The lesion showed regression and lost pigmentation without any side effects.
