The summary describes a novel analog 2-D infinite impulse response (IIR) beam filter formulation for wideband radio frequency (RF) receiver apertures operating over curvilinear uniformly-spaced element arrays. Here, multi-dimensional RF analog filtering is combined with curvilinear array processing in order to realize low-complexity wideband receiver apertures. These apertures can be combined with curved wing and fuselage geometries of UAS technology. The transfer function of a spatially discrete temporally-continuous 2-D IIR beam filter is modified to yield a linear time-invariant spatially-variant 2-D analog filter. Due to the spatially variant nature of the 2-D transfer function, conventional methods of computing the frequency/spatial response cannot be applied. A new method of computing the 2-D filter response is being investigated.
