Input-output analysis of Guangzhou's construction industry

摘要:
The input-output relations have been analyzed using Cobb-Douglas equation with statistical data of 10 districts and 2 counties in Guangzhou's construction industry. The capital-output elasticity is larger than labor-output elasticity. It shows a slight increasing return to scale. The 10 districts occupy main part of the market. Tianhe and Dongshan lead the contribution. Liwan and Dongshan perform with better productivity. The contribution and efficiency of Zengcheng and Conghua are not satisfactory.
