摘要
This article is about the modern economic model, which at the moment deserves special attention in connection with the crisis and the decline in consumer demand for goods and services. This article has two philosophical conclusions. As any economic system is closed, - and in the Middle Ages practically all economic systems were closed, - all economic development after XVI-XVII centuries appeared as a competition between developing and expanding systems, because expansion was possible only within a closed system.(1) Competition begins, and more successful systems swallowed up less successful systems. In late XIX century the Old World clearly defined 3 main technological systems that competed with each other. The first zone was British, it originated in the middle of XVIII century; the second technological zone was German, it appeared in the middle of XIX century; the third zone was the USA(2) Since the Earth has limits, sooner or later scientific and technological progress will have to stop. And since capitalism was the only superstructure over the systems, sooner or later this model will have to be changed.(3)
