In this paper, the proofs of theorem concerning Rafiq [Arif Rafiq, Modified Noor iterations for nonlinear equations in Banach spaces, Appl. Math. Comput. 182 (2006) 589-595] are proved incorrect. And his results are revised. (c) 2008 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
