摘要
Microwave (MW) radiation acts selectively with different materials and some chemical reactions are accelerated when exposed to MW radiation. This kind of radiation might act as a catalyst as well as a heating source by transferring its energy to certain types of molecules, which in turn energize the surrounding molecules and initiate the reaction. The influence of self-association of aliphatic alcohols on microwave heating was studied.
