摘要
We present the results of a comprehensive study of the thermal effect in a Nd:GdVO quasi-three-level 912 nm CW laser. The thermal focal length is measured by the interferometry method and then the fractional thermal loading is estimated to be about 0.36. Our results demonstrate the energy-transfer up-conversion, and absorption effects of the excited state cannot be ignored due to their influence on the heat generation of the quasi-three-level 912 nm laser operation.
