摘要
Differentiation of the economic space in the region is one of the key challenges for the new stage of development of the world powers. However, the opportunity to respond to it demands a serious approach to its definition, measurement and formulation of goals. Strengthening differentiation processes in conditions and consequences of region life population, regardless of the reasons that cause it, leads to an increase in the destructive processes in the society and exacerbates the problem of sustained development of both individual regions and the whole country, that becomes the basis for increasing the range of their economic and social development. The lack of effective estimation tools of the levels of global differentiation of socio-economic development of the countries is a serious problem. One of the estimation tools of global differentiation, which is based on ranging the basic complex indicators reflecting different areas of the global development of the countries, has been considered in the research.
