摘要
In this paper, a 28GHz second harmonic gyrotron with gradually tapered complex cavity is simulated and designed. In order to achieve high efficiency at second harmonic, we analyse the influences of the structural parameters on interaction efficiency, the effects of the electron beam parameters are also analyzed. The simulation results shows that the designed gyrotron can obtain output power of 28.47kW when the beam current is 2A, beam voltage is 49kV. The corresponding efficiency can reach to 29.06%.
